This seems pretty useful. much like Eric, I found it on the hunt for digital clock fonts. Tis well explained, and has nice use of screen shots.

Change the contrast then - it sounds like you're a beginner so maybe this tutorial is not for you.

Is this a real clock? It would be pretty lame. Not enough contrast between the lit and the nonlit numbers

the idea was good, but you need a more symmetrical font, and have the part of the numbers not used less visible...
