Did you create the highlight on a new layer?

21. Choose Select > Invert. Press Delete and you willbe finished!

I got lost on this last part, there is no invert under select, only inverse and when I use that and delete it deletes the bottom of the picture.

Refleks Can Be on Overlay... You can get better effect...
