10 hints to writing more popular online tutorials
Here are the latest comments for the resource Tutorial Writing Guide: writing the right tutorials.
As if . . . this website is all original content. The reason I wrote it is there aren't any good guides out there. I'd like to see this link as it's more likely they've copied off me. It happened lots of times before - I guess most people aren't capable of writing good content. How ironic given the tutorial subject matter.

I agree this a copy of someone elses howto.
how do I know this.
I have a copy of the original howto on my computer.
And now looking the link to the website. To report it to them.

I've seen a tutorial like this before, but it wasn't very good. You did a great job at targeting the main problems with most tutorials, especially grammar and spelling. I can't stand to see people use "u" and "r" and all that annoying Interweb slang in tutorials and pretty much anywhere else. Hopefully this will help some people out when writing their tutorials.
This website has insane amounts of sexiness radiating off of it, by the way.

It's difficult as "tutorial" is a very generic term. I'll see what Icando though . . .

Good article and I agree with most of the points. However, it would be nice if you also provide a list of the tutorial directories.
